About Frameleaf
Frameleaf is a home for AI-made films, comics, stories and lore, and for the people who make them. Creators publish on their own channel. Viewers watch, read, follow the creators they like and keep a list of what they want to come back to.
AI tools now let one person make a short film, a serialised comic or a whole fictional world. That work deserves a proper place to live: somewhere it is labelled honestly, easy to find and treated as creative work rather than a novelty.
For viewers
- Watch and read for free. You can browse the whole library without an account.
- Four formats. Videos, comics, stories and lore, plus series that collect episodes in order.
- Browse your way. Explore by format, by genre, or by the AI tool a work was made with.
- Pick up where you left off. Sign in and we save your place: the moment in a video, the page in a comic, how far you got in a story.
- Follow and save. Follow creators to see their new work in your feed, and save works or whole series to My list.
- Mature content is opt-in. Every work has a rating. Work rated Mature (18+) stays hidden until you are signed in and choose to see it.
For creators
- Your own channel. A page at your username with your avatar, banner, bio and links.
- Four formats. Upload videos or link them from YouTube or Vimeo, upload comic pages, or write stories and lore in Markdown.
- Series and episodes. Organise your work into series with seasons and episode numbers.
- Your followers hear about it. When you publish, everyone who follows you gets a notification.
- Analytics. Studio shows how your views change over time.
- You keep your rights. You own what you upload. You give us a licence to host and show it, set out in the terms of service.
Why we ask for AI disclosure
Every work says how AI was used, in the creator's own words, and which tools were involved. We ask for three reasons.
- It credits the process. The writing, direction, editing and choices a tool doesn't make for you deserve to be seen.
- It helps viewers browse. Each tool has its own page, so you can find more work made with the tools you like.
- It builds trust. When viewers know how something was made, they can judge it on its own terms.
How we keep it safe
Our community guidelines set out what isn't allowed, from harassment and hate to deepfakes of real people and spam. Every work carries a maturity rating, and mature work is hidden by default.
Every work, series, comment and channel has a Report option. Our moderation team reviews reports, with the most serious first. We remove content that breaks the rules and suspend accounts that keep breaking them.
Early days
We are early. We're starting with the library: channels, the four formats, and the tools for publishing and finding good work. Ways to earn will come later.
We're building this with the people who use it. If something is missing or broken, tell us.
Get started
Explore the library to see what people are making, or open Studio to activate your channel and publish your first work.
